Established in 1891, Footscray Cycling Club is one of Victoria’s oldest and most respected cycling clubs. With over 200 members and a full year-round calendar, we pride ourselves on delivering safe, well-run racing for riders of all levels.
During the Road Season (Apr–Oct), we race throughout Melbourne’s west, including the Little River, Maude/Meredith, Balliang and Lethbridge areas, with strong fields and distances from 60-100 km. The season also includes regular handicaps, our long running Annual Tour, and gravel races that add variety and challenge to the winter calendar.
Across Criterium Season (Oct–Mar), we run safe racing at the VU Circuit in Hoppers Crossing, with two races each week, Thursday evenings and Saturday/Sunday mornings forming the backbone of our summer program.
