Watt Bomb Apparel Sun Tour VIP experience

Our club kit sponsors Watt Bomb Apparel have kindly donated a very unique opportunity for a very lucky FCC member (and friend) to attend stage 4 of this years Sun Tour on the Sunday the 4th of February (11:30AM – 4:00PM). Stage 4 will see the riders battle it out for five laps of the Kinglake course that includes the 9 km climb.

“The Kinglake climb is one of Melbourne’s most popular cycling challenges. 5 laps of this challenging circuit will give fans a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with all the action”

The experience includes 2 x VIP seats at the finish line, with food and beverages provided along with a ride in a VIP car as part of the race convoy.

All FCC members (racers and volunteers) at this Sundays Race 21st of January will automatically be placed in the draw which will be done at the end of the days racing (After A grade finish at 12:00). You must be there for the draw and able to commit to attending the VIP event at the Sun Tour.

FCC Summer Criterium Fixutre

Here is the 2017/2018 Criterium Fixture, we have a massive season that kicks off on the 26-Oct-2017 at the VU. It’s going to be a busy season with plenty of racing to keep everyone happy.

The feedback we got from riders is that we all love Drake Blvd and we are racing there every Sunday from the 3-Dec-2017. (We can only make this happen if all our members do their marshalling).

We’ll be running the elimination race series again April-2018. With a few minor modifications, more eliminations and more pain.

We’re also adding a few points races into the mix.

And like last year we’ll finish the season with the ANZAC Day Bob Robson Memorial. 2017 was a huge success with the inaugural women’s race which we will be putting on again in 2018.

Maude/She Oaks race Saturday 9th September

Please be aware that Geelong Cycling Club are holding their Club Championships at the Maude/She Oaks circuit on Saturday morning. Their racing will be concluding around 12 Noon.

Please be careful and considerate when arriving, parking, entering and warming up.
Please do not park on the road side, use the reserve opposite or the paddock next to the Tennis Club Hall.

Also, please only warm-up towards Geelong, so as not to interfere with the GCC racing before its conclusion.

For the FCC marshals please initially meet in the paddock parking next to the Tennis Club Hall.

Thank you, FCC Exec.
